Tighten Connection: Connections can loosen over time—simply tightening a leaking connection is often an easy fix. Replace O-rings: A rubber o-ring prevents leaking at every connection, but they can dry out and crack over time.

Guide one end of the hose through the opening of the hose reel drum and connect the hose end fitting to the hose connection on the inside of the hose reel. This should be a male snap-on fitting/coupling similar to what you find on a garden tap. Make sure you have a good connection by pulling the hose back.
