It is continually created and updated, and encyclopedic articles on new events appear within minutes rather than months or years. Because anyone can improve Wikipedia, it has become more comprehensive than any other encyclopedia.

This is easily done: just type "Special:Random" in the box at the top of the page where you normally type an article name. You will be taken directly to a random article page without having to do anything else.
