Go to the post where the comment is hidden. At the bottom of the comment section, tap View hidden comments. Tap Unhide under the comment you wish to unhide.

It is best to delete these comments as soon as they appear. That may seem like a tall order. There are more bots than you constantly leaving comments and bots can be active at all hours of the day. Hidden within Instagram settings is actually a way to prevent spam comments from being left at all on your profile.

Test to see if after you follow an account, that person immediately unfollows you. This could be a sign of a bot cleaning up their following-follower ratio. Similarly, be wary if an account follows you more than once if ignored. Bots are programmed to repeatedly target users until you return the favour.

If you come across an account that has a small number of followers but a large following, it's likely fake: TIP: Compare the number of accounts they're following, the number of followers they have, and the number of posts they've posted.
