Users who don't have an Instagram account can trigger the App Clip by clicking on a link to a Reel that is shared via iMessage or other apps. App Clip allows users to watch the Reel in the Instagram app's native UI. In addition to this, it allows users to scroll through other popular videos and share them with others.

Muhammad Riswan's latest video, so far, has received over 350 million views, clearly making it the most-viewed Instagram reel. He uploaded the 30-second video of a football hitting a waterfall some 20 days back. It had one million views the first day.

However, simply rewatching a reel multiple times does not count as additional views according to the algorithm. Moreover, a view will not be counted if the reel is watched for less than 3 seconds or if the user quickly passes by without spending enough time on it.

This means that both individuals and organizations have an incredibly easy job of displaying their creativity and impressing their audience. Unlike Instagram stories, reels do not disappear after 24 hours. They remain on your profile until you delete them.
