On Sept. 7, 2023, Charlie Puth announced his engagement to girlfriend Brooke Sansone with a post on Instagram about their shared pizza night. “I flew to New York to ask my best friend to marry me, and she said yes,” Puth wrote in the caption.

They grew up together “​​(She's) someone that I grew up with,” he said. "As my life gets more turbulent and I travel everywhere, it's really nice to have someone close to you that you've known for a very long time." Puth said even before his fame, Sansone has "always been very, very nice to (him)."

The Business Standard had previously published a report saying the singer was coming to Bangladesh, according to an event management firm called Silverline Events' post. It has been confirmed to The Business Standard, via Charlie Puth's agent Brent Smith that the popstar will not be performing in Bangladesh in 2024.
