The pageview stats tool is available from any page, in two ways: 1) Click "Page information" under "Tools" in the sidebar and then "Page view statistics" at the bottom. 2) Click the history tab and then "Pageviews" near the top.

A statistic is a number that represents a property of the sample. For example, if we consider one math class to be a sample of the population of all math classes, then the average number of points earned by students in that one math class at the end of the term is an example of a statistic.

The leading page The undisputed leader is Wikipedia's Main page, with over 46.8 billion views as of January 2022—more than the rest of the Top-100 list combined, including non-ranked pages. For comparison, "Baby Shark", which leads YouTube for the most views on that site has 13.8 billion views.

Statistics deals with every aspect of data, including the planning of data collection in terms of the design of surveys and experiments. The normal distribution, a very common probability density, is used extensively in inferential statistics.
