Google uses structured data to understand the content on the page and show that content in a richer appearance in search results, which is called a rich result. To make your site eligible for appearance as one of these rich results, follow the guide to learn how to implement structured data on your site.

Search Appearance. Groups data by the specific search result type or feature. Supported search appearance types: AMP on image result - An Image Search result, where the image is hosted in an AMP page. AMP non-rich results - A basic, non-graphical (plain blue link) search result for an AMP page.

Test your structured data Google recommends that you start with the Rich Results Test to see what Google rich results can be generated for your page. For generic schema validation, use the Schema Markup Validator to test all types of schema.org markup, without Google-specific validation.

The Schema App Structured Data Tester can be found in the “Maintenance” tab in Schema App. Enter any URL, and this tool will display the Schema Markup found on that page. It is the only testing tool that displays dynamic schema.org data and does not cache the results.
